Weekend Update

I always have a great time when me and my friend Penny get together to scrap. It doesn't happen that often although we don't really live that far away from each other we both are very busy people. Usually we meet up for a crop at The Crafty Scrapper but this weekend I went to her house and we went to dinner then came back to do some scrappin. She has a great printer that prints 12x12 so I got to journal directly on my background pages while I was there. Here are a couple of the pages I did manage to complete. My new Digital adventure

Ok first I am going to admit I am an awful blogger...never can remember to do and when I do, I always get busy doing something else and it gets put on the back burner again. One of my New Years resolutions is to be a better blogger in 2010.

I finally have photoshop elements and have found a new love with my scrapbooking...Digital Scrapbooking...WOW I have been missing alot with this new tool. I would never give up all of my paper and such but this is really neat stuff and well I don't plan on becomming a full time digital person I will be incorporating in when I can. Here are all of the pages I have completed so far thanks to the Up and Running class at Jessica Sprague.com that (don't laugh now) I purchased like a year or so ago and only realized it when I was about to purchase it again. Well atleast I am consistant with my purchases...I usually do the same thing when I buy paper and such except I only realize that I already have it after I get home with my purchase and go to put it up. LOL Does anyone else do this or is it just me?

THIS PAST WEEKEND

I had a little time this weekend for crafting so this is what I did. These are just a few items I have seen on other blogs so I wanted to make for myself. Not exact replica's but my own take on them. Hope you like them. The top one is a recycled coffee can and the second a canvas that now sits in my kitchen.

Back in the groove

i am trying to get back in the groove of updating my blog so here it goes.

This is a recent project I did for The CraftyScrapper.

Hope you like it. I used those little tins that come with Maya Roads goodies in them and attached them to a canvas. I love the idea of recycling the containers. Thanks for the idea Carolyn.

In Loving Memory...

We had a tragic accident last night when our poor Rosco has hit in the driveway of our house when Jason was coming home from work...he died instantly and our hearts are broken. Although he could be a big pain in the butt sometimes we did love him dearly. We are trying our best to deal with it but my son has taken the hardest hit of all of us. I dont know if he will ever recover since this was our 1st dog and we have never had a pet die before. Our cat ran away right before we moved to Forney and he still hasnt gotten over that. He will forever be in our hearts and will truly be missed by all of us. My daughter doesnt understand where he is and keeps asking for him and there is an erie quiteness in our house now. We are going to have him creamated so he will always be here with us. We miss you Roscoe!
