I've been busy busy busy!
1st off let me say Thank You to Caroline for sending me this awesome jar. We have a jar swap at my LSS The Crafty Scrapper and Caroline was my partner this time around. How cute is that jar and look at all of those goodies that came inside. Not sure if you can see it very well but even the tag that she wrote has a wreath on it that matches the one on the jar. This is our second time around on the jar swap so maybe we can expand and do more that just the holidays in 2009.
I finally had a little time to put up all of my xmas decorations this past weekend. Here are few pictures from the day.
If you know me you know I am a Katie Watson stalker...I just love her work. A couple of weeks ago she had a post on the Pink Paisley blog ( shes on the DT) Sunday I was looking through my stash of chipboard and ran across a banner book that I have had for a while. Well you will have to visit her blog to see her creation but here is my version of it and it has a perfect home on my pantry door in the kitchen. Thanks for stopping by! Jennifer

Maya Road Contest
Well this was my submission for the Maya Roads House Contest! What do you think? I really really hope it wins something...anything would be fine with me. I am really happy with how it turned out and thanks to Sherri at The Crafty Scrapper. She helped me with critiquing the photos to send in. You know it really helps to have a second pair of eyes take a look at stuff to see what you are missing. Well everyone keep your fingers crossed they are suppossed to make a decision by the 15th. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Halloween Everyone!
We had a long night last night with Trick or Treating. We live in an area where all of the houses are on 1 to 2 acre lots, so walking can get old really fast. This year or next door neighbors decided to hook up a trailor, put hay bales on it and we all loaded up and went out into the neighborhood, stoping at all the houses. We had a great time and we are stocked up on candy until next halloween. Hope everyone else had a good evening also. Here are a few pics from last night.

Jump Start On X-mas
Check out the 3 gifts I have done so far! Get this I only spent $4.00 for this frame I found at an antique mall in town and $4.00 for the clock at Walgreens... the 3rd is a gift for my Mom that I made. Who says you have to spend as much as you planned for at X-mas. I plan on spending less and putting alot more heart into the gifts I give this year.

Signs Of Fall in Texas!
How cool are these...if only I could have a pumkin like that on my porch, I would be the envy of the neighborhood! My family spent the afternoon at the State Fair of Texas today, it was a nice day for it a little warm but there was a nice breeze. We were however totally shocked that there were hardly any people there, if you have ever been to the fair you know what I am talking about when I say there are usually thousands and thousands of people there but not today. To give you a clue on how bad it was we got there around 12:30pm and walked right up to the Fletchers Corny Dog stand not a soul was in line...not even 1. My husband and I were talking and figure this is just another sign on how bad the economy is when you can't afford to go to the fair...Hopefully I will never be so broke that I can't go to the fair at least once a year..I thank god everyday for the blessings we have. Hope everyone is well!
